This project was made during my time at the Royal College of Art. I used the colleges facilities to create a studio self portrait series and darkroom to create this installation. I explored this connection primarily through my mother’s clothes in these self portraits, alongside a film originating in my family’s archive. Through superimposing myself in the place of my mother in both a neutral and influenced space, I invite the viewer to reflect on their own parental relationships.
